How could I not love you, Master Meng!              

The whole world knows about your charm and elegance.

In your youth, you gave up carriage and gown.

Now a white-haired man, you lie beneath pines and clouds.

You drink with the moon like a drunken saint;

you serve no ruler for flowers are your top concern.

So high a mountain, who can look up to?

Your virtues I can only emulate with awe.
