Imperfection

Who doesn’t have regrets?
Which jade stone is free from defects?
Even if we could break a century mark,
friends and relatives might have already parted.
A magnificent building in the past
is now left with nothing but ruins.
What was once a soaring ambition has
become a silk thread, drifting and broken.
A sumptuous repast can be bad
for the stomach and intestines.
Charming and beautiful, a lady

shows a lack of grace and elegance.
He who is always at ease in his mind
will still be happy in poverty.
By not demanding perfection, you
will be less likely to feel sad and guilty.
